We love birthdays and we love parties! There are so many different places to celebrate kids' birthdays at these days, it's wonderful! You have the usual soft play areas for the younger ones and of course these days there are race tracks, dry ski slopes even SCUBA diving parties! As a SCUBA diver, I think that's sooo cool! Sapphire is having her 8th birthday party at Lush. That ought to be sweet (couldn't resist!).
Of course, we've had many parties at home too. We've had princess cake decorating parties, pirate parties and last year for Sapphire's 7th, we had a cooking party. That was fun. Isent out invites written out like a recipe, tied to a wooden spoon. Each girl had 2 recipes, we made a mini cottage pie & a mini apple crumble. The girls took what they'd made back along with goodie bags full of fun cooking /baking stuff. They really liked that!
